Mexico City, Mexico

If you are on the hunt for a holiday destination, that is filled from top to bottom with nothing but; music that will make you want to stop what you are doing and day, a culture that revolves around family, history that will leave you frozen in place, and food that you will be dreaming of for years to come – Mexico City is the place that you want to be!

Let us talk about music! In Mexico City a bulk of the music that this amazing city has to offer can be discovered within its nightlife. There are numerous sprinklings of different types of music all throughout the city – music is not a one size fits all here. You will be able to find everything from reggae, jazz, classic Spanish songs, and even the more popular, globally known club music. If being one with the night life that this city has to offer is not your cup of tea, I can promise you that the music of Mexico City will find you!

While you are exploring this vast city, trying to see where the music is coming, why don’t you take a step into one of the countless museum’s living within the city’s centre. Housed within both the National Museum of Anthropology and the Museum of the Templo Mayor where a vast majority of relics and artefacts that were uncovered live. Please keep in mind, if you plan to explore any of the older churches in the area, that it is best to bring a thin scarf to cover your shoulders.

Outside of taking in the sights, sounds, culture and history of the city, you absolutely must sink your teeth into the taste that this city has to offer. After a while of eating the same foods every day the flavours can become blended and lose their individuality… this is not something that you will experience anywhere within Latin cooking. You will experience a depth of flavour and slightness of spice that will leave you questioning how such a combination is possible.

If you don’t believe that you will have enough time to take in everything above and more, there is no need to worry. Everyone travels to Mexico, from anywhere in the world for less than one-hundred and eighty days; whether that is for tourism, visit, or business will need to get a Mexico Tourist card. Mexico offers this to some countries upon entrance, while others need to apply first online.
